The 15th UP Mahotsav kicks star with theme of ‘Clean UP-Green UP’

Lucknow: The 15th UP Mahotsav (UP Festival) was on Sunday kicks off with the determination of to save environment along with patriotic songs in the state capital. The festival was inaugurated by Lucknow city Mayor, Sanyukta Bhatia along with Cabinet Minister Swami Prasad Maurya and former Corporater, Pramod Singh Rajan with the traders from across the country on the platform of music in pandal by lighting the lamp. The main aim of the is festival’s theme is ‘Clean UP-Green UP’ that started in Nishatganj based Rajkiye Inter College ground, on the first day of the festival, attractive dance was seen on patriotic songs. As well, the same artists bowed to the martyrs through their dance performance. The organiser of festival Vinod Kumar Singh told media persons that he is very happy to see huge number of crowd from very first day. He also said that this time, many new stalls have been introduced for spectators and special swings for children have also been installed.

AIMIM patriarch breaks down while addressing a rally in Hyderabad: Watch video

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday broke down while addressing a vast gathering of his supporters near Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid on the last Friday of Ramzan.

According to news agency ANI, the AIMIM chief was talking about the recent incidents of homes and shops of Muslims being bulldozed in several states when he became emotional. During his speech, he alleged that attempts are being made to wipe out the Muslims from the country.

“People are calling and telling me about atrocities being done to them, their villages and shops are being demolished. One should not lose hope, there’s no need to worry. We’ll face it with patience but will never raze a home,” Owaisi said, according to ANI.

 

 

 

He even warned PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP govt at the Centre that the Indian Muslims will never bow to such atrocities.

“Listen, Modi and Amit Shah. We will not bow before you. We are those who bow before Allah. Allah is enough for us,” Owaisi said as he recounted the recent incident of Khargone in Madhya Pradesh.
