1 lakh patients increased in India in 10 days, figure reaches 3 lakh

The corona epidemic in India is increasing rapidly. The number of patients infected with the corona virus across the country has crossed three lakh.

On Friday, 10,000 new case reports of Corona occurred, after which the number of infected has increased to more than 3 million.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people infected with corona has increased to 308993. Of these, 154330 patients have been completely cured so far, whereas there are 145779 active cases. So far, 8884 people have died from covid-19.

In just 10 days, the number of infected people in the country has crossed three lakhs, whereas earlier it had crossed 14 lakhs in 2 days.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
