Samsung Galaxy A80 with 48MP rotating triple camera launched in India.



Samsung has launched the Galaxy A80 in India. The phone is priced at INR 47,990 ($696) and will only be available in a single memory configuration.

The Galaxy A80 is the flagship in the highest standing member of Samsung’s revamped A-series. The main feature of this phone is the rotating triple camera. It sports 48MP regular 8MP ultra-wide angle and a ToF modules. When switched over to selfie mode, the camera module rises and flips forward, so you are shooting yourself with the same high quality camera used for your normal shots.

The Galaxy A80 will be available for pre-booking from July 22 to July 31. Those who pre-book will get a free one-time screen replacement in case they end up damaging it. Also, there will be a 5% cash back offer for all Citibank customers.

For everybody else, the phone will go on sale starting August 31 across all major retail outlets. It will be available in three colors – Ghost White, Phantom Black, and Angel Gold.



HMD Global announced the two new feature phones Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105.




HMD announced a couple of simple, affordable handsets – the Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105. HMD Global on Wednesday announced the two new feature phones that will go on sale next monthNokia 220 4G feature phone, successor of the model Nokia 220 that was introduced back in 2014, and the new Nokia 105 feature phone, which is getting refreshed for the fourth time.

Both these features phones come with a new designed and some advanced features. The price of the Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105 (2019) is yet to be revealed by the company, but considering these are feature phones we expect pretty aggressively pricing for them.

The Nokia 105 (2019) comes with a polycarbonate body that can survive drops and falls. The phone includes a small 1.77-inch QQVGA display and packs 4MB of RAM and 4MB of storage. The Nokia phone runs Nokia Series 30+ software and packs features like FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a flashlight. The Nokia 105 (2019) includes an 800mAh removable battery with micro USB port. HMD Global has launched the new Nokia 105 in three colours — blue, pink, and black.

HMD Global has completely changed the design of the Nokia 220 4G. There’s absolutely no match between the new Nokia 220 4G and the old one as far as the design department is concerned. The phone includes a 4G logo on the back. Considering the phone has a curved body it is obvious that the phone will offer a good hand feel and users will be able to hold it in their hands comfortably.

The Nokia 220 4G comes with a 2.4-inch QQVGA display that should be sufficient for checking caller ID and among other things. The Nokia 220 4G runs Feature OS software out-of-the-box. The feature phone comes packed with 16MB RAM and 24MB of internal storage. It includes a VGA camera on the back that is paired with an LED flash.

The Nokia feature phone also includes features like — MP3 player, FM radio (works without earphones plugged in), Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The good bit is the new Nokia 220 4G phone comes with dual SIM support. Notably, HMD has also launched a version with single SIM support. This phone includes a 1200mAh removable battery. There’s a Micro USB port.
