Corona cases in India have crossed 1 million. Every day 25-30 thousand cases are coming across the country of Corona. Meanwhile, another heartbreaking news has surfaced regarding Corona.

Community transmission of Corona has started in the country. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has stated that there has been community transmission of coronavirus in India. That is, the corona virus community has started spreading in India.

Dr. VK Monga, Chairperson of IMA Hospital Board of India, said that now more than 30 thousand cases are coming in India every day. This is a dangerous growth. He said that the situation is really bad and it now shows a community spread.

There are many more reasons associated with this, but overall it is now spreading in rural areas as well. Now the situation may become worse because it has started spreading in the community.

He said that it would be difficult to control the spread of the epidemic in small towns and rural areas.

Dr. Monga said that the state governments should take full care and help the central government to handle the situation. He said that there are two ways to prevent this, 70 percent of the population is exposed to the epidemic and develops immunity and secondly its vaccine is prepared.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
