New Delhi: In a shcokingincident, a young 21-year-old woman has alleged that she was gang raped by two of her neighbours in their house in northeast Delhi’s Seelampur area, police said Saturday.

The woman claimed that the incident took place on May 4. However, she has refused to undergo a medical examination, they said.

In her complaint, she said that the culprits’ mother and sister called her to their home where she was offered a drink. After consuming it, she lost consciousness and woke up in a nearby park, hours later, a senior police officer said.

She felt pain in her private parts and rushed back home where she reported the matter to her uncle, who helped her approach the police, the officer said.

A case has been registered based on the woman’s statement, police said, adding they are probing the allegations.

Pak ex-PM Nawaz Sharif leaves for London for treatment

Pakistan: Pakistan’s ailing former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who was convicted of corruption, left the country on Tuesday to travel to London for medical treatment.

The 69-year-old Sharif, who served three times as prime minister but fell from grace after the Supreme Court ousted him from office over corruption allegations two years ago, has had a history of health problems, including heart disease.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif , who has been diagnosed with an immune system disorder, is accompanied by his brother Shehbaz Sharif and his personal physician Dr Adnan Khan.

“Nawaz Sharif will go to Boston after going through a detailed checkup in London. During his travel, he will stay in Doha for two hours,” PML-N leader Pervaiz Rashid told Reuters.

An ICU and operation theatre has been set up in the air ambulance that has arrived from Doha

The air ambulance arrived from Doha early morning at Lahore airport’s Haj Terminal. An intensive care unit and an operation theatre has been set up inside while a team of doctors and paramedics are also on board.

According to immigration sources, Nawaz’s medical files were handed over to the team traveling with the former prime minister in the air ambulance. Doctors also conducted blood tests prior to the departure.

Three times Prime Minister, Sharif was removed from office by the judiciary in 2017 over corruption allegations. He denies the charge, saying he was politically victimized.
