Ranchi: Cricketer and former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni when he is not on national duty on the cricketing field loves to spend time with his family and this time too when the wicket-keeper cum batsman is on a break he is doing the same thing was seen attending daughter’s Ziva school function.

 

 

This time around MS Dhoni was seen attending his daughter Ziva Dhoni’s annual school function like any proud and doting Dad would do.

Ziva Dhoni who is already a star on the internet and a darling of the social media seems to be a star pupil of her school too as she stole the limelight at her annual school function by becoming a princess in the cultural programme.

 

 

Some cute photos along with videos of Ziva Dhoni attired in a pink dress and wearing a tiara or a crown is doing the rounds of social media. MS Dhoni is seen attending the function with his wife Sakshi Dhoni and interacting with daughter Ziva and her classmates.

MS Dhoni is currently on a break as the Indian cricket team is touring South Africa and has pulled out of Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.

He was seen attending Ziva Dhoni’s annual school function and interacting with other tiny-tots as well in a video that was shared by a fan account on the social media.

Dhoni is spending his time away from cricket with his family. He was recently pictured attending his daughter Ziva’s annual day in photos that have emerged on his Instagram fan pages. Ziva is wearing a fairy outfit and Dhoni was there with his wife Sakshi to cheer their daughter on.

 

 

Dhoni will next be playing cricket for India in the upcoming six-match ODI series against South Africa.

The Indian team is currently playing South Africa in a three-match Test series and Dhoni, having retired from the longest format of the game in 2014, is hence not on cricketing duties at the moment.

 

 

The last time India played a Test series in South Africa, Dhoni was captain of the team.

The left-handed batsman from Haryana is garnering praise from all quarters for the way he’s finishing games regularly in the most exciting IPL season.

Gavaskar reckons Tewatia’s whirlwind knock in Sharjah (in IPL 2020) where he smashed West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over, gave him the confidence that he belongs to the big stage.

Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “That assault on Sheldon Cottrell in Sharjah gave him the belief to do the impossible and the confidence that he belongs here. We saw the impossible (he did with the bat) the other day as well. There’s no twitching or touching the pads (which shows a batter’s nervousness) when he bats in the death overs. He just waits for the ball to be delivered and plays his shots. He’s got all the shots in the book, but most importantly his temperament to stay cool in a crisis is brilliant.”

Gavaskar has also nicknamed the 28-year-old cricketer the ‘ice-man’ and lauded Tewatia’s ability to remain unruffled during the tense moments.
