Team India is 2nd one in world that wins most International matches in single year
Mumbai: The team India on Sunday defeated Sri Lanka by 5 wickets in the Mumbai’s Twenty-20 match and gave them a clean sweep by 3-0 in the three-match T-20 series against the Lankans. Not only this but at the same time, the Indian team has become the second team in the world to win the most International matches in a single year. The team of Men-In-Blue has won a total of 37 international matches in year 2017, including all the three formats of cricket game. Interestingly, the only who is ahead of team India is Australian team, which made this world record by winning the highest number of 38 International matches in 2003. Although, the Team India missed the opportunity to equal the record of Australian team of winning maximum number of games in a single year in Mumbai’s T20 game against the Sri Lankans, but on other hand, the Indian team has made a happy ending of year 2017. Now, earlier in the Mumbai’s T20I match, the Sri Lankan team losing the toss gave target of 136 runs to win for India. In reply, easy to follow target, team India lost 5 wickets in 19.2 over’s and scored 139 runs and won the match by 5 wickets. On behalf of Indian team, Manish Pandey top-scored with 32 while Shreyas Iyer scored 30 runs. In addition, MS Dhoni scored 16 runs while Dinesh Karthik scored 18 runs to help India win. Jaydev Unadkat was awarded the Man of the Match and the Man of the Series award.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday broke down while addressing a vast gathering of his supporters near Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid on the last Friday of Ramzan.
According to news agency ANI, the AIMIM chief was talking about the recent incidents of homes and shops of Muslims being bulldozed in several states when he became emotional. During his speech, he alleged that attempts are being made to wipe out the Muslims from the country.
“People are calling and telling me about atrocities being done to them, their villages and shops are being demolished. One should not lose hope, there’s no need to worry. We’ll face it with patience but will never raze a home,” Owaisi said, according to ANI.
He even warned PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP govt at the Centre that the Indian Muslims will never bow to such atrocities.
“Listen, Modi and Amit Shah. We will not bow before you. We are those who bow before Allah. Allah is enough for us,” Owaisi said as he recounted the recent incident of Khargone in Madhya Pradesh.
