Shilpa Shetty announces Best Deal TV’s tie up with Amazon.in
New Delhi: Actress-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty, along with her husband and businessman Raj Kundra, on Wednesday announced their home shopping channel Best Deal TV’s tie up with e-commerce portal Amazon.in to expand their foothold in the fashion and apparel segment in India.
Under the partnership, the e-commerce portal will sell fashion and lifestyle products backed by Bollywood celebrities including Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan and Bipasha Basu besides other items from Best Deal TV.
Best Deal TV, India’s first celebrity shopping channel is co-founded by Akshay and Kundra.
“It’s probably the first time where a TV commerce and an e-commerce site have joined hands to enhance the customer experience. This gives us a new clientele and a good reach. The idea behind this partnership is to broaden our horizons,” Kundra, who is CEO of Best deal TV, said at the launch.
Starting from Shilpa’s designer slim shape jeans and her line of saris to Satyug Mangalsutra bracelet, Neeta Lulla’s saris and Anushka Dandekar’s line of jeggings, customers will have a wide range to products to choose from the e-commerce portal and the channel right from fashion, fitness, home and kitchen, to beauty and jewellery product range.
The beauty and lifestyle selection at Best deal TV and Amazon.in also includes products from celebrities like Akshay’s Twist Head-phones, Neha Dhupia’s Hair Extensions, Farah Khan’s Air Loc containers, Bipasha Basu’s suggested Air fryers, amongst others. Soon they will alos launch Akshay’s exclusive AK clothing range.
The idea behind the tie up of the shopping portals is to provide celebrity-endorsed products to Indian consumers in a fast, easy, convenient and reliable way possible at affordable prices.
