All new Innova Crysta priced up to Rs 20.78 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Monday announced the launch of all-new version of its popular multi-purpose vehicle Innova priced up to Rs 20.78 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

The bookings of the new vehicle, named Innova Crysta opened on Monday and deliveries will begin from May 13, 2016, TKM said in a statement.

The Innova Crysta comes in two engine options of 2.4 L diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission and an all-new 2.8 litre diesel engine with 6-speed automatic transmission.

It is priced in the range of Rs 13.84 lakh and Rs 20.78 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

TKM Managing Director Akito Tachibana said that ever since its launch in India the company has sold over 6 lakh Innovas in the country.

“At Toyota, we are constantly striving to make our products even better catering to the changing needs of our customers. We are positive, with the Innova Crysta we are all set to create a new benchmark in luxury, comfort and toughness,” he added.

TKM claimed that the Innova Crysta gives a fuel economy of 14.29 Km/l for the 2.8L 6-speed automatic transmission variant and 15.10 Km/l for the 2.4L 5 speed manual transmission variant as per ARAI certification.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– 16-inch black alloy wheels

– Smartphone wireless charger

– Rear Disc Brakes

– Power window auto up/down

Mechanically, the SUV continues to be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options.
