Coolpad unveils Android 5.1 Note 3 Lite smart phone at Rs. 6,999

New Delhi: A Chinese telecommunication corporation Coolpad has unveiled its new smart phone named Note 3 Lite in the mobile market.

The newly launched Note 3 Lite flaunts a 5-inch IPS display with an HD (720×1280) resolution and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The smartphone is generated with 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB).

The smart phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with and f/2.0 aperture and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is packed by 2500mAh non-removable battery.

The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Cool UI 6.0 with connectivity features include 4G (with support for Indian LTE bands), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB (with OTG). It also facilitates an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and digital compass.

LI Bin, chief executive of the Coolpad Group said he was committed to producing products in India under the “Make in India” programme.

“…we are proud to announce that, by the first quarter of 2016, we will start manufacturing Coolpad Note 3 from Videocon’s Aurangabad factory. Our target is to produce 1 million “Made in India” Coolpad phones.”

Coolpad Note 3 Lite, which will be available in champagne white and black variants, has been priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
