Time to ‘Like’ this fresh WhatsApp feature

Lucknow: WhatsApp is turning out to be the next big thing in the world of social media after the king of social network kingdom Facebook purchased it for $19 billion (£12 million) last year. Facebook has already upgraded the instant- messaging app with its super-styled features and looking forward to set new version on WhatsApp which could be the ‘like’ button as well the ability to mark messages as ‘unread’.

Sources told that the upcoming features are currently under testing and should soon be released on a new BETA version of WhatsApp.

The ‘Like’ button would allow the user to hit ‘Like’ on the content you appreciate and could also help you to send a short reply to simple messages wherever you want to be on WhatsApp.

On the other side, a new feature to be added on WhatsApp is a “Mark as unread” option which allows you to mark your message as unread. This feature would keep a message as a rest for you and would avoid blue ticks to show a message has been read.

Earlier, Facebook has delivered several enhancements to the instant-messaging app which include blue ticks for read messages with a feature of seeing who is typing as well as ability to assign other members as administrators and increased the number of group members.

It seems that after acquiring the WhatsApp, Facebook is planning to change messaging app green clothes into the blue. However, it is too early to comment that how much ‘Like’ the new application gets from the tech-savvys.
