BMW to introduce the classy X4 to the Indian market

After the debut of the sassy X3 in the markets of India, BMW is now to staging the debut of the luxurious X4 in the Indian market. The German carmakers scheduled the launch in February but the new reports suggest that the launch date has been deferred and now is expected to  hit the market in the first week of March.

Introduced in June 2021 the third generation facelift brought fine- drawn changes to the X4 with regard to the exterior. As stated by the German carmaker, the SUV will lie on top of the M- sport variants with both petrol and diesel powertrains.

The X4 appeared to be much more sassier than its predecessor with the new and sharper headlamps, new conjoined kidney grill, redesigned bumpers and slimmer rear lights. The Indian spec of X4, the company could offer adaptive LED headlights, 19- inch alloy wheels and the new bold exterior paints such as Black Sapphire.

Inside, SUV is refurbished as in the X3. Having said that, the India restrained X4  is expected to get a upgrade with the 12.3 inch infotainment touchscreen with BMW live cockpit,  a panoramic sunroof,  a head up display with three zone temperature control and six color of ambient lighting  and more.

BMW is also expected to offer many other sporty feature with the introduction of multiple airbags, cruise control, wireless smartphone connectivity with a usual Harman Kardon sound system , 360- degree surround- view camera, traction control, dynamic damper control, performance control, driving modes and many more.

The new X4 is in all probability to be powered by a 2.0- litre, four- cylinder, twin- turbo, petrol engine that makes 248bph and coveys a torque of 350Nm. Whereas the 3.0- litre will offer six- cylinder diesel motar capable of generating 282bph and a torque of 650Nm. both the engines are copulated with the Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The BMW is expected to take on its bitter competitor Mercedes Benz who introduced GLC Couple in the Indian market.

Improved version of Hyundai Creta launched in Indian market: Check it out here

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). This new variant is available in both petrol and diesel engine options and can be had either with a manual or an automatic transmission unit. To read more about the Creta Knight Edition, click here. In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– 16-inch black alloy wheels

– Smartphone wireless charger

– Rear Disc Brakes

– Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

– Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)

– Hill start assist control (HAC)

– Paddle shifters

– Electric and auto-folding ORVMs

– Power window auto up/down

Mechanically, the SUV continues to be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options.
