Former captain MS Dhoni adds a vintage Land Rover 3: See pics here

Former captain of the Indian Cricket team MS Dhoni is perhaps best known for his on-field achievements, but he is also famous for his amazing car and bike collections. After participating in an auction held by Big Boy Toyz last month, MS Dhoni recently added a vintage Land Rover 3 to his impressive garage.

A number of vintage models were available for sale at an online auction in the showroom of Big Boy Toyz in Gurugram. Mahendra Singh Dhoni expressed an interest in the Land Rover 3, eventually winning the bid for it. Over 50% of the stock was sold through the online auction, according to BBT.

As part of his personal collection, Dhoni owns some of the most amazing cars and bikes. While there are some seriously capable machines four wheelers like the Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, there is also an impressive list of bikes like Yamaha RD350, Confederate Hellcat X32, BSA Goldstar, Harley-Davidson Fatboy, Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R and Kawasaki Ninja H2.

Considering its rich heritage of the Land Rover 3, it is expected to have a special place in history. Land Rover 3 was built in the 1970s and up until the mid 1980s with a 2.25-litre engine and manual transmission.

Improved version of Hyundai Creta launched in Indian market: Check it out here

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). This new variant is available in both petrol and diesel engine options and can be had either with a manual or an automatic transmission unit. To read more about the Creta Knight Edition, click here. In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– Smart panoramic sunroof

– 16-inch black alloy wheels

– Smartphone wireless charger

– Rear Disc Brakes

– Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

– Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)

– Hill start assist control (HAC)

– Paddle shifters

– Metal pedals

– Electric and auto-folding ORVMs

– Power window auto up/down

Mechanically, the SUV continues to be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options.
