Shocking! Fully vaccinated women dies after suffering from Covid-19

Indore has reported another Covid-19 death in a week and the third in the state where a fully vaccinated woman died on Tuesday.

A 66-year-old woman returning from Jammu and Kashmir was detected with the infection. She was admitted to a hospital in Mhow on November 20 after complaining of respiratory distress and tested positive the very next day.

The woman’s husband is also Covid-19 positive and the couple was admitted together. He is still under treatment and is in a stable condition.

The woman had a medical history of diabetes, hypertension, obesity and sleep apnea.

As per reports published in Times of India, nine people have tested positive in Mhow in the last four days.

On November 16, Indore reported its first Covid-19 death of a fully-vaccinated person.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
