Government schools will open for teachers in UP from today, mandatory to follow the corona protocol

The outbreak of the second wave of corona epidemic in the country has subsided a bit, after which primary schools will open in Uttar Pradesh from today. Let us tell you that at present, children are not allowed to come to school and only teachers will come to school. All the teachers, including the principal of the school, will have to come to the school under the Covid-19 protocol.

No teacher or non-teaching staff will be able to enter the school premises without a mask and sanitizer in the schools opening from today across the state including the capital Lucknow. At the same time, children from 6 years to 11 years will also be admitted in schools from today itself. That is, after contacting the parents of children in the age group of 6 to 11, they will be enrolled so that those children can also take advantage of other schemes of the state government apart from studies.

The teachers reaching the school from today will have to sanitize the entire school, especially in the school premises, along with ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen, all classrooms and terraces. After this work is done, all the children will have to distribute mid-day meal food grains. The conversion cost will also have to be sent to the account of all the beneficiaries. At the same time, teachers will also have to upload every information related to this on the Prerna portal. The system of school registers will have to be maintained as per the mandate related to Time and Motion Study.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
