Vivo V21 has been launched as the company’s new V-series smartphone for the year 2021. The device comes in an even more sleek and handy format than its predecessor – Vivo V20 and promises a prominent camera upgrade for superior photography.

As a highlight, Vivo claims that the V21 is the slimmest smartphone in the country to date, measuring just 7.29 mm across its depth. As for the other measurements, the V21 comes with a 159.68 mm height and 73.90 mm width and weighs around 176 grams.

Vivo V21 specifications

Vivo V21 sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ (2404×1080) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MTK Dimensity 800U chipset coupled to an 8GB RAM that comes with Extended RAM support to act like an 11GB RAM during high-performance requirements. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB variants. The device runs Funtouch OS 11.1 that is based on Android 11.

For optics, the smartphone uses a triple-camera setup at the back with a 64-megapixel primary lens with OIS, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens as well as a 2-megapixel macro lens. Other than the OIS, it promises features like 4K Video, Autofocus, Ultra-Wide Night mode, Art Portrait Video and more.

For selfies, the Vivo V21 comes with a 44-megapixel selfie shooter with dual screen lights at the front. The camera also uses EIS as well as OIS for extreme stability in videos shot through the front camera.
