Yogi government to provide free tablets to students under Abhyuday shceme

The government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to provide free tablet computers to some students who will be selected under Abhyuday scheme. The decision has been taken by the state government to provide ease of attending online classes from home.

The free tablet computers will only be provided to students who have been selected in the coaching classes under the Abhyuday scheme. The tablets will be provided to those students who cannot afford to attend online classes due to the lack of resources.

Under the Uttar Pradesh Abhyuday scheme, students will be able to seek free coaching to students who are hoping to qualify for various competitive examinations like JEE, NEET, UPSC, NDA, and CDS. The coaching will be provided both online and offline.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the UP Abhyuday scheme on February 15, 2021, for students who cannot afford expensive coaching classes. The online classes for the same were started on February 16, 2021.

The government of Uttar Pradesh decided to come up with the idea of free coaching classes in the state after many students were stranded in Kota during the Covid-19 pandemic. The government came up with the Abhuyaday scheme so that students won’t have to migrate to other states for studies.

During the inauguration of the scheme, CM Yogi said, “I want to ensure everyone that these classes will help them achieve their goals. In 2020, the scheme was not only appreciated but a special package was also announced in the Union Budget.”

As many as six new nursing colleges to be functional in Haryana soon

Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal shared that the construction work of six nursing colleges in the state will be completed soon and classes will commence in the month of July. Not only this, the new building of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula has also completed its construction work.

Adding on to this, he shared that, till now, the classes are being held in another building, the chief secretary said while presiding over the review meeting of development projects worth more than Rs 100 crore here.

CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWED MAJOR PROJECTS

The Chief Secretary reviewed several major projects, including power, health, medical, and technical education in the state, and directed the concerned officials to complete them within the stipulated time period.

COLLEGES UNDER CONSTRUCTION

He said that the construction of nursing colleges in Dherdu village of Kaithal, Khedi Ram Nagar village of Kurukshetra, Kheranwali village of Panchkula, Aura and Dayalpur village of Faridabad, and Sadatpur village of Rewari is under construction.

The construction work of Medical college in Koriawas in Narnaul, Medical College at Jind, Bhiwani, and Dental College at Nalhar is being completed at a fast pace. The work of the second phase of Kalpana Chawla Medical College is also undergoing.
