Covid-19: Corona Virus recovery rate cross 81% in India.



With its focused strategies and effective, coordinated and proactive measures, India is reporting steep increase in recoveries.

Corona virus India News Live Updates with India recording 83,347 cases of the novel corona virus in the 24 hours ending 9 am Wednesday, the total number of cases in the country crossed the 56 lakh mark to reach 5,646,011. Also, as many as 1,085 deaths during the same period took the toll to 90,020. The fatality rate is 1.60 per cent. At present, the country has 9,68,377 active cases and as many as 45,87,614 people have been treated and discharged.

The number of people who recovered from Covid-19 stood at over 1.01 lakh on Monday, the highest single- day rise so far. The recovery rate stands at 80.86 per cent. With India recording the highest number of COVID-19 recoveries in the world, the government on Tuesday said that for the past four consecutive days the number of daily recovered cases surpassed the new infections reported per day.

Also, September has been particularly harsh for Maharashtra, which has consistently had the highest number of corona virus cases in the country. As corona virus spreads to rural areas, hospitals like Karad’s in Maharashtra are struggling. Again declared Covid-only this month, the Sub-District Hospital has 45 beds and none in ICU due to the lack of an intensive and oxygen tank.

Meanwhile, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), India’s top drug regulator, will only approve Covid-19 vaccines that meet parameters, such as their ability to show they can improve clinical outcomes by at least 50 per cent during human testing.

Globally, as many as 31,480,193 people have been infected while 968,726 have succumbed to the virus. Also, 21,624,431 people have recovered so far.


Lucknow Police Commissioner, his wife & son got corona positive.



Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujeet Pandey, his wife and son have tested positive for Covid-19, sources in the police department said on Monday. All three of them have minor symptoms and are completely out of danger. They have quarantined themselves at home after consulting with doctors, sources added.

The development comes on a day when the total number of positive cases in the state reached 4,72,077 with 1,814 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours. Out of this, at least 4,38,521 patients have recovered, maintaining the recovery rate close to 93 per cent. The toll rose to 6,902, of which 21 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, while the state recorded 26,654 active cases.

Lucknow added 257 new cases in the list. Among the remaining new cases, 120 were recorded from Gautam Buddha Nagar, 117 from Varanasi and 100 from Prayagraj.

Five deaths were reported in Lucknow in the last 24 hours. According to the state data, 1,12,650 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of samples tested so far was over 1.41 crore. As of now, for every 10 lakh people in Uttar Pradesh, nearly 62,843 samples have been tested.
