Corona virus, which started from Wuhan city of China, is wreaking havoc in many countries of the world but the most devastation caused by this virus has developed in developed countries like Italy and America.

In America, thousands of people are dying every day due to this virus while millions are infected. So far, more than 60 thousand people have died from this virus in America.

Many big countries of the world such as America, China and Japan are engaged in developing vaccines for this virus, but so far they have suffered failure. But amidst all this, a ray of hope is visible from America.

In fact, the infectious disease specialist of North America University Health System, Dr. Nirav Shah has said that the anti parasitic drug Invertimycin can kill the corona virus in just two days.

According to Shah, this drug is safe and can be found worldwide. Dr Kylie Wogstaff of the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute in Melbourne, Australia also says that she has found in the study that a single dose of the drug can eliminate the RNA of the virus within 48 hours or 24 hours.

In addition, Dr. Jacques Rector of the Broward Health Medical Center in Florida says that they are already using this drug to treat the infected. The effect of the drug is also visible. Similarly, Dr. Amit Patel of Utah University said in research, “Invertimycin had better results in severe patients on lung damage ventilator.”

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
