New Delhi: Domestic car making company Maruti Suzuki has decided to give away its Alto 800 STD models on-road price in Delhi is Rs. 2.85 lakh; it is now being offered with benefits and discounts up to Rs. 65,000 by the Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL).

The leading automaker in the country, has the Alto 800 as its best-selling model in the market for too long. You can often find the Indo-Japanese manufacturer offering huge discounts on the entry-level hatchback to lure in more customers especially during the festive season and this year it is no different.

As part of Diwali discounts, the company is selling the base Alto 800 with a big offer. The STD variant can now be had with a cashback of Rs. 30,000 and furthermore the exchange bonus adds up another sum of Rs. 30,000. The corporate discount stands at up to Rs. 5,100 in addition.

Cumulatively, the entry-level Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 can now be bought for Rs. 2.2 lakh (on-road, New Delhi). The highly affordable price comes as a result of Rs. 65,000 discount by slashing it from original OTR of Rs. 2.85 lakh in New Delhi. The Alto 800 is sold in STD, LX and VX variants with petrol and CNG options.

The 796 cc three-cylinder inline F8D petrol engine is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 48 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm of peak torque delivered at 3,500 rpm. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission as no AMT is offered and it helps in retaining claimed mileage of 24.7 kmpl.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). This new variant is available in both petrol and diesel engine options and can be had either with a manual or an automatic transmission unit. To read more about the Creta Knight Edition, click here. In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– 16-inch black alloy wheels

– Smartphone wireless charger
