Hefei: A 23 year old young model, Liu Quiaquian won the International Breast Model competition. This competition was organised in joint collaboration with the brainchild of a plastic surgery company and a local newspaper group.

The pageant was in its currently 7th year edition which took place in the city of Anhui Province in China.

A member of jury from Huamei plastic surgery group said that the models aren’t solely judged on their breasts. ‘Our principle is to spread beauty and assist charity.’ The models are judged based on ‘body proportions, manner, knowledge span, and degree of confidence.’

The winner contestant Liu Quianquian said, if the pageants were only about breasts, she wouldn’t have won. She claims she won the pageant because the judges liked her smile and composure. She hopes that participating in this pageant would raise awareness about breast cancer.

Miss Liu defeated 11 other contenders at the competition to win the title of International Breast Model Contest 2017. They wore designer gowns for most of the rounds and when they strutted on the ramp wearing their lingerie, they adorned a chiffon fabric around their torso.

Before entering in this competition, Qianquian had been watching Victoria Secret fashion shows to perfect her walk. She then participated in knockoff Victoria Secret shows in China.

She says it doesn’t bother her that they are ‘fake’ since it is just a format that they are borrowing. She says these knockoffs are a hit among Chinese underwear brands since the locals find such shows ‘stimulating and international’.

The young model said she is mainly focused on finessing her walk so that she can see her dream of becoming a Victoria Secret Angel come true. She wants to wear the Victoria Secret Wings on the actual ramp after seeing Asian models, such as Liu Wen, on stage.
