Kanya Puja is a significant ritual during Navratri and Durga Puja. Kumari Puja is also known as Kumari Puja  and Kumarika Puja.
In religious texts Kumari Puja is suggested on all nine days of Navratri. On the first day of Navratri only single girl should be worshipped and one girl should be added on each day. However many people prefer to perform Kumari Puja on a single day either on Ashtami Puja day or Navami Pujaday. Drik Panchang lists Kumari Puja on Ashtami Tithi.
As per religious texts, two to ten year’s old girls are suitable for Kumari Puja and the one year old girl should be avoided. The girls from two to ten years represent various forms of Durga.

During Kumari Puja, each girl is worshipped with dedicated Mantra. The suitable girl for Kumari Puja should be healthy and free from all sorts of diseases and physical defects. It is believed that Brahmin girls should be chosen to fulfill all sorts of wishes, Kshatriya girls for the glory and fame, Vaishya girls for wealth and prosperity and Shudra girls for getting the son.

VIDHI 

On this day of Navratri, prepare delicious food for girls. Generally the menu for the ninth day is Halwa, Poori and Chana. Many people make Kadhi with pakodi and Kheer also.

When girls come to your house, feed them with full love and devotion, considering that Mother Goddess Durga herself has come to get food on your invitation with love. When they finish food, put tilak on their forehead and give some gifts to them.

1. Cucumber juice

Cucumber is a favourite salad ingredient in summer because of its cooling properties. Consuming cucumber juice can be really beneficial for relievingacid reflux because it is highly nutritious as it provides your body with both fibre and water which is needed for better digestion and has a low calorie volume. What’s more? It can also keep you full and help you avoid reaching out to junk foods!

2. Lemon water

Lemon can do you a world of good! Being rich in vitamin C and B and minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium—drinking lemon water regularly will not only help you burn fat but will resolve your digestive issues such as acidity. Moreover, lemon water contains laxative properties that can help improve your bowel movements and clear toxins from the body, keeping you hydrated.

3. Ginger water

Ginger aka adrak, is a very well known ingredient that has been used for ages to help relieve acidity and gas.
