Boman Irani having a blast on ‘Dilwale’ set



Mumbai: Actor Boman Irani is having a gala time at the shoot of Rohit Shetty’s “Dilwale”, which brings back Bollywood’s beloved on screen pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Present at Anupam Kher’s acting academy Actor Prepares to share acting tips, Boman shared his experience from the shoot and said: “We’re having a blast on the sets of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and others.“

Boman is enjoying his time with Shah Rukh, with whom he has acted in films like “Don” and “Happy New Year”.

He said: “There is double enjoyment in every film with Shah Rukh.”

About “Chennai Express” director Rohit Shetty, Boman said: “Rohit is a wonderful guy to work with. I wasn’t expecting so much fun. We’re having a great time making ‘Dilwale’.”

“Dilwale” has made headlines right from the time its casting process started. Shetty has managed a casting coup by reuniting evergreen couple Shah Rukh and Kajol in the film after “My Name is Khan”.

He has also cast young sensation Varun Dhawan and one-film old beauty Kriti Sanon.

The supporting cast is not any less prominent with the likes of Vinod Khanna, Varun Sharma, Kabir Bedi, Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra, apart from Boman.


Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ to release in China on Dec 13




Mumbai: Superstar Akshay Kumar-starrer sports drama “Gold” is slated to release in China on December 13.

Announcing the news, Akshay on Wednesday took to Twitter and wrote: “‘GOLD’ releasing in China on 13th December, 2019!”

Directed by Reema Kagti, “Gold” released last year on August 15. The film traces the golden era of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das, a young assistant manager who dreamt of playing for an independent nation.

The film also stars Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Sunny Kaushal.

Also, “Gold” was released in Saudi Arabia last year and according to Akshay Kumar, it’s the first Hindi film to release there.

“The story of India’s first Gold medal victory for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Happy to share, ‘Gold’ is the first ever Bollywood movie to release in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia,” Akshay had tweeted.
