Hyundai unveils sport styled i20 Active at Rs. 6.38 lakh

New Delhi: An Indian subsidiary of leading automobile manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India today unveiled its new sport styled vehicle i20 Active in the auto market.

The newly launched version of i20 emerged out in both petrol and diesel powered variants.

Managing director and chief executive, Hyundai Motor India, B.S. Seo said, “Reaffirming our commitment to Indian market, we are delighted to launch i20 Active. The i20 Active is a sport styled vehicle with many segment unique features.”

The petrol variant comes out with 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine which generates a mileage output of 17.19 km per litre, whereas the diesel variant features 1.4 U2 CRDi diesel engine churns a mileage of 21.19 km per litre.

The petrol powered i20 Active is priced between Rs.6.38 lakh and Rs.7.09 lakh while the diesel variant is ranged between Rs.7.63 lakh and Rs.8.89 lakh.

The vehicle also features projector headlamps, LED day time running and positioning lamps. Interior colour package, aluminium pedals and smart key with push button start.

It also facilitates steering position reminder, auto door unlock, service reminder, parking sensor display and headlamp escort function.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). This new variant is available in both petrol and diesel engine options and can be had either with a manual or an automatic transmission unit. To read more about the Creta Knight Edition, click here. In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– 16-inch black alloy wheels

– Smartphone wireless charger

– Rear Disc Brakes

– Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

– Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)

Mechanically, the SUV continues to be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options.
