To fight with corona epidimic India sent corona vaccines to Guyana Jamaica and Nicaragua

The second phase of the corona vaccination campaign is underway in India. In order to fight the epidemic, it is helping to send vaccines to other countries. According to the latest information, India has delivered the Corona vaccine in the South American country of Guyana, Jamaica and Nicaragua, located in Center America.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava has given this information. Even before this, Corona vaccines have been sent by India to other countries.  Powerful countries of the world including India are also facing this epidemic. America is among the most infected countries in the world in the grip of this deadly infection.

On the previous day, the Supreme Court questioned the Delhi High Court, questioning the vaccination classification by the central government, that the vaccine is being donated abroad, the sale is being done in other countries but its people are not being vaccinated at full capacity? During this time, the court issued notice to the central government, giving an affidavit till March 9 and directed to explain the reasoning behind the classification in the vaccination campaign. Also, the vaccine companies Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech have been asked to submit their separate affidavits and show their vaccine manufacturing capacity. The court will hold the next hearing in the case on 10 March.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.

Health experts said that the mutated Coronavirus is losing its fierce characteristics as vaccination, better treatment facilities and awareness among the people have contributed to the lesser number of Covid deaths.

During the 4th and 6th of April two deaths were reported in Bengaluru, one in Gadag district on April 8, two deaths were reported from Belagavi and Vijayapura on April 30. The first Covid case was reported in the state in March 2020 and three Covid deaths were recorded in the month.
