Delhi Nursery Admission opens from Thursday, check details

Delhi Nursery Admission 2021-22 will begin from Thursday. Online registrations include admissions for nursery, kindergarten, and Class 1. As many as 1,700 schools in the national capital will be participating in the admission process.

The last date to submit application forms is March 4. The first list for admission will be published on March 20, while the second list will be released on March 25. The process of admission will end on March 31, 2021. The schedule has been released for general category (75 per cent), while the remaining 25 per cent seats are reserved for the economically weaker section (EWS) and disadvantaged (DG) categories will be announced soon.

Nursery Admission 2021-22 Delhi: Important instructions

Age limit:

The upper age limit for nursery students is 4 while the lower limit is 3, the upper limit for kindergarten is 5 and the lower limit is 4, and the upper limit for Class 1 is 6 years and a lower limit 5 years as of March 31, 2021.

Last date of registration and fees:

Application forms will be available at schools till the last date of registration, March 4, at a fee of Rs 25. The purchase of a prospectus is optional.

Reservation

There is a reservation of 22 per cent in entry-level classes for EWS/DG category students, while 3 per cent for children with special needs (CWSN). The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) will conduct the admission of these students through a centralised process. A separate schedule for this will be released later.

As many as six new nursing colleges to be functional in Haryana soon

Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal shared that the construction work of six nursing colleges in the state will be completed soon and classes will commence in the month of July. Not only this, the new building of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula has also completed its construction work.

Adding on to this, he shared that, till now, the classes are being held in another building, the chief secretary said while presiding over the review meeting of development projects worth more than Rs 100 crore here.

CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWED MAJOR PROJECTS

The Chief Secretary reviewed several major projects, including power, health, medical, and technical education in the state, and directed the concerned officials to complete them within the stipulated time period.

COLLEGES UNDER CONSTRUCTION

He said that the construction of nursing colleges in Dherdu village of Kaithal, Khedi Ram Nagar village of Kurukshetra, Kheranwali village of Panchkula, Aura and Dayalpur village of Faridabad, and Sadatpur village of Rewari is under construction.

The construction work of Medical college in Koriawas in Narnaul, Medical College at Jind, Bhiwani, and Dental College at Nalhar is being completed at a fast pace. The work of the second phase of Kalpana Chawla Medical College is also undergoing.
