Ekta Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap, and Gunita Menga’s film ‘Bittu’ has got an entry in the Oscars 2021. The film has been selected for the Live Action Short Film category. Ekta Kapoor and Tahira shared this happy news on their social media account Instagram.

However, the Malayalam film ‘Jallikattu’ sent for Oscar 2021 by India has been out of the Oscar race. Jallikattu was sent for the Best International Feature Film category at the 93rd Academy Awards, but the film failed to make it to the top 15 and dropped out. But the exit of ‘Jallikattu’ does not make Indians at all innocent, as ‘Bittu’ is nominated.

Tahira has also stated in his post that 174 films were qualified for this category.

At the same time, in her post, Tahira has also written the names of films that have been included in the top 10 with Bittu. The names of those films are Da Yie, Feeling Through, The Human Voice, The Kicksled Choir, The Letter Room, The Present, Two Distance Dtarngers, The Van, White Eye ‘.

Bittu has been screened at 18 film festivals before getting an Oscar entry; the film has won several awards in its own name. Karisma has also received the Best Director Award for Bittu. Actor Hrithik Roshan and rumoured girlfriend Saba Azad were spotted at Mumbai airport on Tuesday and given that they were hand-in-hand, we can presumably dispense with the ‘rumoured.’ The couple were pictured exiting the airport, she in a cropped top and comfy pants and he in a white t-shirt, jeans and cap. This is the latest in a series of appearances Hrithik and Saba have made this year; they also exchange affectionate and admiring messages on social media.
