Hyundai i20 3rd Gen launched, starts at Rs 6.79 lakh.

 Hyundai Motor India on Thursday launched the three rd-gen i20. The premium hatchback will take ahead the 12-year previous i20 model’s legacy in India.
The 2021 Hyundai i20 starts at Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes as much as Rs lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol variant ranges between Rs 6.79 lakh – Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The diesel variant ranges between Rs 8.19 lakh – Rs 10.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The turbo variant of the premium hatchback starts at Rs 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes as much as Rs 11.17 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 3 rd-gen i20 will likely be supplied in Three engine options- petrol, diesel and turbo petrol. The 1.2-litre petrol engine manages to supply 83 PS of energy and provides 114 Nm of torque and when paired with the IVT, it manages to supply 88 PS of energy and provides 114 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine manages to supply 100 PS of energy and provides 240 Nm of torque. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol generates 120 PS of energy and provides 171 Nm of torque and is paired to both 7-speed DCT or 6-speed IMT. The turbo variant clocks 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds.

The 2021 i20 adopts the entire new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language and appears fairly sleeker and bolder than all its predecessors because it discards the beforehand boxy design. The new avatar seems fairly aerodynamic and the daring detailing provides it an aggressive character total. The sharp LED headlamps with DRLs, LED foglamps, Z-shaped LED taillamps, elevated hood with robust character strains, fly back chrome waistline, shark fin antenna and the black accents on the entrance parametric jewel patterned grille, give the hatchback a barely muscular look.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India).
