Former district president of BJP shot dead in Baghpat, CM Yogi gave instructions for action



In Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat, miscreants shot and killed former BJP district president Sanjay Khokhar.

Sanjay Khokhar was out on the morning walk when he shot him in the already ambushed miscreants.

District Magistrate Shakuntala Gautam told that after the incident, the police has reached the spot. Hundreds of villagers have gathered at the scene. Police have started investigation by taking possession of the dead body.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi has expressed deep condolences on the death of former BJP district president Sanjay Khokhar of Baghpat.

He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members of late Sanjay Khokhar.

The Chief Minister has given inquiry in this case and directed to take judicial action against the culprits in 24 hours.

They have said that accountability should also be fixed in this case. Sanjay Khokhar, a resident of Baghpat Chhaprauli in Uttar Pradesh, was one of the old RSS workers.

He left his house on Tuesday morning for a morning walk on Tilwara road. He was shot and killed near the farm of one and a half kilometers away.


Yogi meets filmmakers, invites them to UP




Several filmmakers on Tuesday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through video conferencing to discuss the film city project.

The Chief Minister shared a presentation with the guests and assured filmmakers of all help in film making in the state. He said that the proposed film city would be spread over 1,000 acres of land.

He said that Uttar Pradesh was the heart and hub of India — be it the Freedom Struggle movement, culture or mythology.

“We have Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura. There is Hastinapur which is related to Mahabharat. There is history and there is culture here,” he added.

The Chief Minister spoke about the state’s connectivity and said that the Jewar international airport project was underway and many new airports were on the anvil.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the Kumbh Mela organised by his government last year and said that the event had been appreciated worldwide.

Among those who attended the meeting included actor Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, singers Anup Jalota, Udit Narain and Kailash Kher, lyricist Manoj Muntashir, filmmakers Satish Kaushik, Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Priyadarshan, Saundarya Rajnikanth, Raveena Tandon and Raju Srivastava, among others.
