People with these diseases will also have to undergo corona test : Ministry of Health

In view of the severity of corona virus, the Union Health Ministry has issued a new directive.

All pneumonia patients will have to be tested for corona virus according to the ministry’s directive.

It has also been said that the information of pneumonia patients will have to be given in the National Center of Disease Control (NCDC) or Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP).

The Health Ministry has asked all the hospitals in the country to take special care of social distancing in the campus.

This step taken by the central government will put an end to the questions raised about the investigation of corona patients in the country.

The ministry has said that all hospitals should check whether they have adequate number of ventilators, oxygen, masks, hazmat suits, ICUs etc.

It is also said that there will be only one attendant with every patient. This rule should be strictly followed.

Let us tell you that a person sick with corona virus gets severe stage pneumonia. Because of which his lungs stop working.

The first cases of pneumonia were also reported in Wuhan, China, which were later discovered to be infected with corona.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
