Corona virus is increasing in India, so many new cases have come out in 24 hours

Corona virus infection cases are steadily increasing in India. On Monday, the number of new patients of covid-19 was 9 thousand 983, after which the number of people infected with covid-19 infection has increased to more than 2.56 lakhs. The Union Health Ministry gave information about this.

The ministry released the latest figures saying, “With 206 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has increased to 2 lakh 56 thousand 611 with a daily figure of 9 thousand 983.”

Talking about the global figures, India ranks fifth in the list of countries most affected by the coronavirus epidemic with this new number, beating Spain.

The Ministry of Health stated, “At least 1 lakh 25 thousand 381 patients are suffering from covid-19 infection, while 1 lakh 24 thousand 94 people who are fully healthy after treatment have been discharged from the hospital. 7 thousand 135 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic in the country so far. ”

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
