In such a situation, the Jharkhand government has started home delivery of liquor in the state in association with the country’s two major food delivery companies, Juomato and Swiggy.

According to reports, Zomato and Swiggy will make home delivery of liquor in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Bokaro after a partnership with the Jharkhand government. In this way, people will get rid of the long line in the liquor shop and the administration will be able to easily maintain social distancing at the liquor shop due to less crowds.

SOP is being prepared for this, shopkeepers have been instructed to sell liquor by making social distancing in liquor shops, home delivery of liquor will also be done through Swiggy and Zomato, in the coming days of the state and other similar Companies running home delivery will be added.

There will be home delivery from liquor stores in nine major cities and from Jometo and Swiggy Agency, liquor will be sold from 7 am to 7 pm and will be through counter sale, home delivery and third e-Token system.

People can make a booking for the purchase of liquor and take a token for it and through it can take liquor from the wine shop, liquor will be sold at 15 district headquarters from the shops and also from the e-token system, while the rural Liquor will be sold only in shops in the areas.
