BIG RELIEF : 84 corona patients were cured soon after mixing three medicines

The corona virus is causing havoc by spreading all over the world. So far, 2 lakh 79 thousand people have lost their lives due to this virus. At the same time, more than 4 million people have been infected worldwide.

Many countries of the world are doing research on making vaccines day and night to stop this fast spreading virus. But the exact treatment of this dangerous disease has not been found yet.

Meanwhile, a good news has emerged from Hong Kong. In hospitals here, doctors have rapidly cured some patients with a mixture of three medicines. This report of patients and medical system cured by this drug has been published in The Lancet.

Researchers at Hong Kong University at 6 government hospitals in Hong Kong tested drugs on 127 patients infected with the corona virus. Of these, 86 were given a mixture of three medicines while 41 were given a mixture of other medicines with common medicines.

The 86 patients who were given a mixture of three medicines were cured in 7 days. Whereas, the second group was still illicit at that time. However, this combination of the three drugs was given to patients who were not seriously ill because of the corona virus.

Doctors treated people with a mixture of Lopinavir-Ritonavir (brand name- Calletra), the second drug Ribavirin, and the third drug, Interferon Beta-1B, which were injected.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
