Women along with his son jumped off the balcony to death.
A homemaker and her two-year-old son fell to their death from balcony of their 7th floor flat in RT Nagar, off Ballari road on Tuesday afternoon.
Her family alleged that marital torture drove her to the extreme step.
Bhavana, 29 lived Bhavana lived with husband Arihant, a manager with a private agency in B2 block. She was married for 4 years. Police suspect that she jumped off the building with her only child Devant.
Bhavana a commerce graduate, she had also cleared a few papers of Chartered accountancy exam.
Investigators said it was not an accident fall. “They fell down from balcony of their bedroom. A 3ftiron grill covers the open space in the balcony. The chances of it being accident are bleak,” a police officer said.
Bhavana’s parents filed complaint at RT Nagar Police station, accusing Arihant of harassing their daughter everyday and demanding dowry.
Investigation of this case is continued.

Following the marathon, a gathering of differently-abled individuals, predominantly wheelchair users, convened for a celebratory lunch at Barzilla. The event, orchestrated by Mr. Shariq Khan and Mr. Zain Aftab, proprietors of Barzilla, honored the birthday of Sadaf Fatima, who also uses a wheelchair and is Mr. Shariq Khan’s wife.
The lunch featured esteemed guests including the Tourism Minister of Goa, MLA Rohan Khaunte of Porvorim, Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Desai, and the State Commissioner for Persons with Disability in Goa, Guruprasad Pawaskar. The event was impeccably hosted by Ms. Falak Fatima and Mr. Adarsh Parashar, offering activities such as Karaoke and Billiards. The youth of Goa exhibited their unwavering support for the community, making the party an unequivocal success.
