We all are well aware of this fact that water is a healthiest thing to drink. But have you ever think drinking water from plastic bottles can affect your health. These plastic bottles are full of bacteria and chemicals. Water is something which is so much important for our body.

We all know that our body weight is approximately 60 percent water. Our body uses water in all its cells, organs, and tissues to regulate its temperature and maintain other bodily functions. Because our body loses water through breathing, sweating, and digestion, it’s important to rehydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water. The amount of water we need depends on a variety of factors, including the climate where we live in, how physically active we are doing, and whether we’re experiencing an illness or have any other health problems. Water almost cures us from many diseases easily.

But most of us keep water in plastic bottles without knowing that it can cause many problems.

Here are some reasons which show that why using plastic bottles are bad:

Plastics not just only full of chemicals but they releases fluoride, arsenic and aluminum which are toxic to the human body, drinking water from plastic bottles means to slow down your health.

Using plastic bottles can increase the risk of breast cancer.

Plastic contains Biphenyl chemical which cause problem related to diabetes and fertility.

Plastic bottles are terrible for environment; they take almost hundreds of year to decay.

Now you all are must thinking that if plastic bottles are so harmful than what should we use to drink water?

Here’s the answer for the above question. Replace these plastic bottles and use bottles which are made up of glass and stainless steel.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.

Health experts said that the mutated Coronavirus is losing its fierce characteristics as vaccination, better treatment facilities and awareness among the people have contributed to the lesser number of Covid deaths.

During the 4th and 6th of April two deaths were reported in Bengaluru, one in Gadag district on April 8, two deaths were reported from Belagavi and Vijayapura on April 30. The first Covid case was reported in the state in March 2020 and three Covid deaths were recorded in the month.
