New Delhi: Ayodhya dispute is a political and historical debate in India whose hearing was not going on from past few days. Now, its hearing resumes in Supreme Court today.  In 2010, Allahabad High Court gave a majority verdict that the disputed land will be divided into three parts among Hindus, Muslims and Nirmokhi Akhara. 13 appeals were filled against this Allahabad High Court judgement whose hearing is in apex court, today.

Supreme Court to resume hearing of disputed Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir case from today:

The main issue of the case is that according to Hindus, the land on which Babri Mosque was built is ‘Ram-Janambhoomi’(birthplace of Hindus godhead Lord Rama). Babri Mosque is one of the largest mosque of Uttar Pradesh. It was built by Mir Baqi who was a Mughal commander during the reign of first Mughal emperor Babur.

Both the Muslims and Hindu communities worshiped their gods inside and outisde the mosque respectively. In 1885, a petition was filled by Nirmokhi Akhara asking for permission to allow them to pray inside the mosque where their (hindus) idols were installed.
