Dayton: Hey attention all the lovers of arms cum ammunition and smartphones. Did you remember a unique pistol used by the ‘James Bond’ and consider that if such kind of gun will appear in real life than what will you do? Surprised! Yes we are not kidding. A pistol like smartphone could be in market soon in future.

According to the creator of the cell phone cum gun, Kirk Kjellberg, it looks like something from James Bond, transforming from the size of your phone to a deadly weapon but it’s perfectly safe and for the public.

Kjellberg said, “I just decided there’s probably gotta be a better way to carry and I was just looking around and noticed everyone had a smart phone so why not make a pistol that would look like that?”

The creator of the product said they spent a year engineering it and got approval from Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.

He said, “As long as the pistol has rifle barrel and cannot be fired in closed position it is a pistol.”

On other hand, a CCW instructor and former police officer said, “I can’t speak for all others but I wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole.”

He said, “Overall my professional opinion is it’s just a bad idea from a safety perspective and also from an access perspective the inability to get it out, get it functional in a rapid situation would be extremely difficult.”

A former police officer, Jeff Pedro: “If the gun were to be released police officers would be alerted to it and they’d pretty much be checking any cell phone that resembled the size and shape of that particular device.”

Kjellberg said they have the transformation down to seconds but says they’ve also consulted with cops.

“It’s easier to shoot someone in a nefarious way to shoot someone with a regular pistol than it would be with ours,” Kjellberg said.

Kjellberg said the guns will be mass produced and should be available for purchase by the end of this summer with only $500.
