Introduction : Our eyes express our emotions and thoughts beautifully when words fail us. It’s our responsibility, in turn, to take care of them. In today’s world, with the workload and strenuous lifestyle, eyes have lost their natural beauty. You get dark circles, puffiness, redness, itchiness, wrinkles, and what not. Even after waking up in the morning, your eyes look tired and dull because of the dark circles and under eye bags. So these are your tips for eye care .

Cucumber

Cucumbers work wonders for tired eyes. Place two slices of cucumber over your eyes and rest for a while. Besides its cooling properties, it also helps to lighten dark circles.

Chilled Cotton Balls
Dip cotton balls in chilled water and keep for five to 10 minutes on your eyes.

Rose Water

apply cotton balls soaked in rose water on closed eyes for 15 minutes or so.

This method is considered to be one of the most popular and easiest cures for dark circles. This tip is so convenient that you can do it anywhere and everywhere .

Almonds And Milk

Soak five almonds overnight.

Next day, first thing in the morning, peel the almonds and eat them by chewing well.

Follow with a glass of milk.

Eat Healthy

Keeping your eyes in good health is also about eating right. Include foods like carrots, beetroots, and green leafy vegetables in your diet on a regular basis.

Water or Herbal Tea

Hydration is key. Not only does it help your body and skin but it also helps your eyes. You don’t nessecarily have to stick to eight glasses of ice water a day though. You can always work in some herbal tea. Teas give you and your skin that extra boost to take care of business and those dark circles. By staying hydrated, your body will stay healthy, your will skin glow, and dark circles will disappear.

Wear UV protective sunglasses

Always wear sunglasses when you are outside and the sun is shining. Look for sunglasses that have a sticker that specifies that the lenses block 99% or 100% of UVB and UVA rays.

Get plenty of sleep

Inadequate sleep may contribute to eye fatigue. Symptoms of eye fatigue include eye irritation, difficulty focusing, dryness or excessive tears, blurred or double vision, light sensitivity, or pain in the neck, shoulders, or back. Make sure that you get enough sleep every night to help prevent eye fatigue. Adults require about 7-8 hours of sleep per night.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.

on an average 500 persons used to succumb everyday in the peak of Covid infection, as per the data. Health experts said that the mutated Coronavirus is losing its fierce characteristics as vaccination, better treatment facilities and awareness among the people have contributed to the lesser number of Covid deaths.

During the 4th and 6th of April two deaths were reported in Bengaluru, one in Gadag district on April 8, two deaths were reported from Belagavi and Vijayapura on April 30. The first Covid case was reported in the state in March 2020 and three Covid deaths were recorded in the month. In the following month 21 people became victims to the deadly virus, and May 2020 recorded 22 deaths. The death toll recorded everyday after May crossed three digits.
