Learning problems in kids related with excessive daytime sleepiness

Washington: It is commonly believed that improper sleep and being lethargic affects on childrenâ€™ s studies, but as per the recent study, it has been revealed that kids going from the excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) may face learning, and behaviour problems even though it is found they have proper sleep or long sleep, as per the reports. As per the reports, Susan Calhoun, who led the study said, "Impairment due to EDS in cognitive and behavioral functioning can have a serious impact on a child's development." As per the study, the researchers analysed and found that the kids whose parents reported excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) were likely to experience learning, attention/hyperactivity and conduct problems in comparison to the people without EDS.The common behaviour problems faced by kids like learning, school lessons, paying attention was seen in (EDS), although the medical tests revealed that they had proper and sound sleep.
