Ford to cut down its sadan price

New Delhi: Ford, car making industry showcased its all new Ford Fiesta Power, a day before. There was a buzz about the price tag of this all new sedan. But as the Ford Motors unveiled its Fiesta Power, the air warmed up as they declared to cut down the prices of its all new version.Ford Motors hinted about there new price tag on this model, by saying that they will introduce an alternative with lower specifications. All new fiesta power was said to compete with some sedan rulers such as Hyundai, Honda and Volkswagen in terms of their specifications.But other car manufacturers already have lower prices sedans, running on Indian roads. So comparing Fiesta power in terms of price, Sales and Marketing Director of Ford India said, that we have to think again about developing some new ways to manipulate their available models.As per the sources, Sales and Marketing Director of Ford India said, "While we sold the car on its technology and capability, the perception is that we do not have an entry point at Rs 8.23 lakh. We will do a review of a whole range of options. Margins are very very tight. The profitability is hit by the slowdown in the petrol car market, rising input costs as well as the huge discounts."
