LG launches updated version of 3D phone to Europe

Korea: The South-Korean phone making company, LG has commenced the selling of its second 3D handset LG Optimus 3D Max in Europe.After the downfall of original LG Optimus 3D in the market, the company has again brought back its updated model for its consumers. The new LG Optimus 3D Max flaunts with a slim 9.6mm thick body and powered with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The phone also features with a 4.3 in 'naked eye' 3D touch screen. The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform with an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) reportedly coming.The phone also comprise with 5MP cameras able to shoot 3D video, a webcam, an HDMI and DLNA connection and built-in NFC technology.LG mobile's CEO Dr Jong-seok Park said, "We are deliberately pushing the limits of mobile entertainment innovation with the Optimus 3D Max."He added, "Our second generation glasses-free 3D smartphone is as thin and light as any other high-end smartphone while still delivering a spectacular picture in either 2D or 3D."The new updated version of the LG Optimus 3D Max is obtainable across the Europe whereas releasing date of the phone is yet to be declared in the US.
