BJP claims Congress for putting pressure while questioning ECâ€™s decision

New Delhi: In an unprecedented move, the Election Commission has couple of days before canceled the Rajya Sabha polls as BJP on yesterday said it should not work under pressure from the Congress.The BJP's Jharkhand affairs in-charge Harendra Pratap Singh said, "The EC is overactive this time. Where was it on previous occasions when there was horse-trading by Independents to get into the Upper House?"Harendra Pratap Singh further said, "Yesterday the BJP, JMM, AJSU, JDU voted for the JMMâ€™s Sanjeev Kumar, which prevented horse-trading."Harendra Pratap Singh said the EC should not work under pressure from the Congress and alleged that it was the Congress and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) that had brought "money culture".
