Mumbai: Bollywood gets tale of off beat genre with the release of Paan Singh Tomar which is a true story of a runner who didnâ€™t get the appreciation he deserved. The story of the film is pinning which creates the aura of legendary 70's era films of Hindi cinema industry. The story of this movie is quite unique, which actually holds the viewerâ€™s attention till the end. Irrfan Khanâ€™s acting as ever is realistic and suits the character. The story however, revolves around Paan Singh who is a small-town lad who goes on to win the steeplechase at the Indian National Games for seven consecutive years.The film traces his gritty and often tumultuous journey through the heart of Indiaâ€™s gangland, Chambal while making him face life challenging events. Last but not the least Paan Singh Tomar is all about the athlete who finally becomes a rebel from the national steeplechase champion for years running, in the Chambal valley due to uncertain circumstances.
