New Delhi: If you blame yourself for your frequent memory loss problems while entering, exit from room then stop doing that as in recent study it has been found that memory losses is related to your doorways. A study suggests that passing through doorways is the cause of these memory lapses.Entering or exiting through a doorway serves as an 'event boundary' in the mind, which separates episodes of activity and files them away, as per the reports. Elaborating the thing further it was said that trying to remember the things or decisions that was done in a different room becomes tougher as it has been partitioned. On this basis the three studies was also performed on the students in both real and virtual environments. All college students were performed memory tasks while crossing a room and while exiting a doorway.Eventually it was found that the subjects forgot more after walking through a doorway compared to moving the same distance across a room.Giving the conclusion that the entrance and exit on the doorway works as a hindrance to get back the thoughts and the decisions which were made in another room.
