With tears in eyes and prayers in heart devotees bid final adieu to Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj

Kunda (Pratapgarh). Amidst chants of Vedic Mantras and presence of thousands of devotees, the funeral pyre of Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj was lit at Bhakti Dham Ashram at Mangarh at 10 30 AM. The entire family of Shri Maharaj ji was present at the Samadhi Sthal, specially erected by the devotees to perform the last rites of Shri Maharaj ji. The holy pyre was lit by Ramananda, the grandson of Shri Maharaj ji


Before the final procession, Aarti of Shri Maharaj ji was performed at 3 AM in the morning and then the daughters of Shri Maharaj ji did the shringaar. The family members of Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj carried Maharaj ji on shoulders and brought the body to the Aangan where pooja and panda daan was done. Thereafter, parikrama procession was taken out of Bhakti Dham and thousands of devotees accompanied the Rath in which the body of Shri Maharaj ji decorated with flowers and Bhagwa was kept. The possession passed through the routes of Mangarh where localites  turned out in large numbers to have darshan and pay respects. The poojan and havan at Chita Sthal began at 9 AM and pundits from Kashi performed the last rites amidst Vedic Chants.


Many VIPs and eminent persons were present at the samadhi sthal to witness the final journey of Shri Kripaluji to heavenly abode. Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari was also present during the last rites.
